Contributor to Modern Drama by Women 1880s-1930

Elizabeth Robins is at right center in this collage of women playwrights featured.

This 1996 Routledge anthology, edited by Katherine E. Kelly, "contains twelve plays by women from the Americas, Europe and Asia, spanning a national and stylistic range from Swedish realism to Russian symbolism. Six of these plays are appearing in their first English-language translation." Joanne Gates edits Robins' play Votes for Women from the dramatic text based on the promptbook kept by Harley Granville Barker for the 1907 Court Theatre production. It therefore differs slightly from the 1909 printing, now in the public domain.
